NYC Mayoral Race 2025
For the November election, the team at Kalshi wanted to showcase the odds dramatically changing over time + engage with folks on the streets of NYC ahead of the election. The campaign was a huge success that drew millions of impressions. We started with ads across Madison square Garden (each totem had a different POV and messaging):
After the Madison Square Garden ads, the conclusion was we loved the colors but needed to connect the aesthetic to the core heart of Kalshi which are the odds. For the next phase of subway ads we played around with sharing odds as a story telling device:
I created numerous animations playing with various themes, elements and messaging but we needed to tie the visual even more to the Kalshi brand, so we added the Kalshi green and a chart at the top for the final subway ads:
The Kalshi team built an incredible election hub with real time odds up until the winner’s announcement. The ask was to create a quick social video to share the exciting interactivity of the hub. I had about 3 hours to build the animation. The hub drew over 120 million impressions and was one of 2025 most popular markets on Kalshi.
