I decided to explore what that beauty means to me.
Insect Flasks
Inspired by 19th century Chinese flasks from the late Qing dynasty, I’ve built 3 insect character based flasks. I was drawn to the beauty of praying mantis and wanted to create women hiding in their costumes.
These objects are both nostalgic & futuristic adorned with decorative nature illustrations & animated colors.
