Inspired by 19th century Chinese flasks from the late Qing dynasty, I’ve built 3 insect character based flasks. I was drawn to the beauty of praying mantis and wanted to create women hiding in their costumes.
These objects are both nostalgic & futuristic adorened with decorative nature illustratios & animated colors.
