The team had an issue needed to be solved creatively -
how to signal to users the 4-5 sec of processing time is the app working backend on their order?
I came up with a few visual directions symbolizing clearly we are working hard to process their order, legally and securly.
I created two options from which we chose one visual to lead with in the 3 mode (light mode, dark mode, green mode).
Parlays Payment Loop
Another processing time issue came up. It took extra time compiling *some* users parlay choices within the bottom menu. I needed to create a seamless animation to visualize things are happening and the order is being processed.
I’ve started by building quick 3 sec loops that integrate our company font inter + a unique element. Since this was solely for sports category I stuck to organic, familiar shapes as well as the flagship gradient green.
It turned out the final asset needed to be 1 sec long, so I finalized the animation to look like a data bar loop connected to the user’s parlay order.
I handed it over to the engineer as one .json file.
Live Games delayed Cash-out
During live games, an additional delay was put in place to prevent fraud. The 2 sec delay is an unpleasant ux issue, and I came up with various visuals to tackle the issue:
